"Sana Editora arrives at the 20th edition with the book 'E Se ...?', A milestone in our recent history, but also in the history of the 'Sanaan family.' Raquel Garcez Pacheco will bring to the team passion and commitment and to Barbara The book "And If ...?" Brings more values to the values that already exist in Sana Editora's children's collection ", underlines Susana Freitas, responsible for the editorial coordination of the work and founder of Sana Editora.

'What if...?' - which is among the shortest literary titles in the world and the only one attributed to a Portuguese children's work - is like a balloon trip through the world of constant human discontent, where fantasy illustrates permanent desire and dream. The work promises to captivate kids and adults. Although it is a children's story, the narrative has several messages that can be extracted:

A message of motivation that portrays the importance of believing that it is possible to realize our dreams, that it is important to be discontented to allow ourselves to fly, without fear, with ambition;

A message of inspiration (in children) for their curiosity, bravery and imagination. Everything is possible in the fearless eyes of a child. To perpetuate this essence of a child in us, is to give wings to dreams, to want to be a hero, warrior and winner;

A pedagogical message, be resilient. As in the real world, in the story told in the book, there is sadness, injustice, loneliness, betrayal, frustration, loss (death), each one of us has a capacity to know how to act, to face, to overcome;

A message of universal reflection - the eternal question "What if?" that makes us write our personal history for the choices we make, whether or not free will: What if? What if I were? What if I had done it differently? What if he had chosen that other way? What if...?

Bárbara Neto, creative author of the illustrations of 'E Se ...?', Reveals that the project allowed her to "fly to the imaginary world of dreams", where everything is possible: "When I first spoke with Raquel about her I could not be anything very real or descriptive, for the whole story belongs to a world that does not exist, but which coexists in all of us, in our My drawings have tried to meet this description that Raquel makes with each desire, each character.With the pages, we can dream about the impossible and ask lightly for a desire that changes with each experience.The colors, they are not indifferent, in spite of many colors, they are light and submerged, as if we could only see them, but not touch them, the characters are every child that exists in each one of us in this dream capsule. "

Raquel Garcez Pacheco - who assumes only as a storyteller believes that a good narrative is the one that generates connection and communicates, in some way, a message that captivates and inspires. "In this story I have tried subtly to mirror the real world through the magical world of dreams.The chain of narrative portrays ambition, desire, dissatisfaction and frustration simultaneously.The constant search for perfection that does not exist, the" ses "of life, all this moves my characters inspired by different contexts. " For the author, 'What if ...?' is a dream come true: "It was only possible to edit this story I had in the drawer for some time, for having found the perfect partner for me to tell this story through its creative, colorful and enchanted images that inspire dreams, carry magic and Barbara's perfect brushstroke, allied with a close and demanding editorial team, with vision and passion for what she does, a tuned alignment that gave birth to this work.
