The show I can’t see the sea will have an anthem on Saturday, July 28th at 9.30 pm in the Centro Cultural do Cartaxo, free entrance and conversation with the audience at the end of the show.
It is a solo by Maurícia Neves that speaks of the impossibility of seeing clearly. Some current affairs are being rescued: plastic and oil that invade the seas and oceans around the world, the contamination of various foods with plastic, the oil spills that have been stifled by the press.
In I can’t see the sea we are always influenced by different points of view, feelings and dogmas. We see what we want to see. Rescuing some current issues: plastic and oil that invade the seas and oceans around the world. The problem begins to be serious and alarmist. Several foods are already contaminated with plastic, oil spills have been muffled by the press. In this project, the body and the voice relate to the objects and the landscape, are mixed in the idea of contamination, cloudy look.
