Leonel Vieira's film, which arrived in theaters in October 2017, opens this Thursday in theaters in Brazil.

The romantic comedy of the director, who is in São Paulo preparing the launch, brings together Brazilian actress Paolla Oliveira and actor Ricardo Pereira, in the main roles and debut in about 150 rooms in Brazil. Distribution is assured by PARIS FILMES, one of the largest distributors for the Brazilian market.

It is also ensured the film's release on the TV circuit, through a partnership with Telecine, Brazil's largest network of movie channels.

Recorded between Lisbon and Rio de Janeiro, Someone like me also has some of the most prestigious Portuguese and Brazilian actors: José Pedro Vasconcelos, Sara Prata, Júlia Rabello (Port of Funds) and Arlindo Lopes, and the Portuguese actor José Martins and with the special participation of Paulo Pires, Eduardo Madeira, Manuel Marques, Dânia Neto or the fado singer Mariza.

Without subsidies from the Film Institute of Portugal, Someone like me is the first Portuguese-Brazilian film in a coproduction STOPLINE | GULLANE, where each party participates with 50% of the funding.
