Rose Palhares will be the designer responsible for the fashion lounge of Mastercard where hundreds of exclusive creations of this fashion designer will be made available during the most emblematic film festival in the world.
Held May 8th to 19th, on the Côte d'Azur in France, the Cannes Film Festival will continue to contribute to the development of cinema, boosting the international film industry to celebrate cinema worldwide. And Rose Palhares, as fashion designer creator of Mastercard's fashion lounge collection, will return to this festival for the second time at the invitation of the brand.
According to Rose Palhares, director-general and founder of the brand under its name: "The exclusive collection of MasterCard's fashion lounge at the Cannes Film Festival has a very unique identity because it is based on warm and festive tones and textures smooth, crafted and shiny. I find that this collection follows a trend of pieces that can be transformed and that cut with the traditional precepts, like the long dresses of precollining necklines and with asymmetric gusts. But, at the same time, I want the silhouettes to be based on absolute precision because they consume values associated with autonomy, elegance and feminine mutability. "Continues:" The sophistication of the 600 pieces of this collection, characterized by materials such as lace, sequins , silks and details in organza and taffeta may be considered unusual but after all I like to discover the fabrics and their improved textures. This is because my work is not just fashion but I also interpret it as art. "
