Fogo Fogo is a project that regularly explodes, with uncontrollable energy African music and presents its latest EP "Nha Cutelo" on July 20th at the Festival Músicas do Mundo (FMM) in Porto Covo.
Fogo Fogo is a project born of the challenge made by the Independent House to the musician João Gomes to revive the dancing dances of Sunday, evoking this vibrant and overwhelming Lisbon, this city where Africa fits, but especially that speaks Portuguese, past, present and future. Nha Cutelo, who has the band's first originals, is born in Casa Independente and has the record label Espanta Bjon, the name of the events in the Independent House.
After presenting their new EP, which features the group's first original songs in the Independent House, the band started with their summer tour, passing now one of the most important festivals of the world music genre, FMM. The band's performance begins at 00:00 p.m. on the night of July 20, the second night of this event. After this presentation, Fogo Fogo played later at the Boom Festival in Idanha-a-Nova, in Évora, Guimarães and on the island of S. Miguel, Azores, in the Azores Burning Summer.
