A current larger discussion worldwide is food, mainly what we eat throughout the day. This is a question that becomes relevant when we see that there is a cause and effect relationship between what we digest and public health with an indirect impact on the environment. So what to eat? What said is very interesting, because when we are not well we revenge us in food, either all, whether in sweets. If you notice there is no self-respecting American film that does not show a depressed woman who does not "revenge" her sorrows in one of those buckets of ice cream sitting on the couch crying and eating. And even if we don't like it, though is not part of our Mediterranean diet, already exists in our society and we all have ice cream at home. Currently there is a very strong relationship in how I'm feeling and my body, called the end of the fasting day, people usually are in a constant rush and stress in their daily routine, after the end of the day there is a relaxation and end up eating whatever they feel like and after dinner while watching movies eat chocolates or cookies. It all starts in childhood, because adult wrongly say to children: if you behave well give you a chocolate or an ice cream. If you do not well behave you don't eat what you like. Therefore, we relate the behavior and then take it all thru our life, so we eat what we eat for emotional discharges.

We are at a time when there is much talk of food and in particular on animal's products. We've had the mad cow disease, swine pest, the avian flu, i.e., all the animals we consume take all kinds of antibiotics and hormones, because the market demands a constant production of meat. Can we without destroying the planet, continue to consume all kinds of animals?
AM: We must consume animal organic production, because that has to follow certain rules in which animals are subject to certain situations, i.e., they do not inject them antibiotics or hormones, go outdoors and have a less processed food. Second, it is true that we have too much animal protein in our diet. So there are two animals that I recommend people to stop eating, or at least eat less in quantity, pork and beef. These two meats are pro-inflammatory, the other should be consumed moderately and join it all should be fish from high seas, avoid aquaculture. The problem is that people think they can eat meat and fish at every meal which is a lie. There are sources on vegetable proteins.

The cow and the pig are inflammatory because of the chemicals they ingest?
AM: No, the problem comes from the molecules which are present on their muscles and then in the body will cause the release of cytokines that are pro-inflammatory. People with allergic disorders will have more crises and more people with musculoskeletal problem will feel more pain.

AM: Yes, I think so. Anyone who starts a diet should not eat anything for 3 months, dairy cow, goat and sheep.

AM: Yes, our society is not ready to accept that there are other varieties of calcium, such as broccoli, brown rice, sesame seeds and seaweed, these are bio available foods. Maybe we can balance so we no scare people, well at least after 3 months, the aim is to check what the reactions of your body are after and then not overload the diet with these products and vary with alternative sources.
