Path is part of RTP 2 programming on Sundays. It is an information space for the various religious communities in our country.
I have said several times that the channel 2 enters what should be considered as public service. Diverse in terms of themes and targeted to various audiences that do not review then self in the remaining schedule. Path, is one such example, is a space that allows greater visibility to the activities of the various religions represented in Portugal. It is a program that builds bridges of tolerance, because it covers an audience that is not limited to the faithful of each of these churches, includes also those who out of curiosity or not, want to know more about other communities and get to know their moral, ethical and religious values. It's my case. It is a television project that calls for respect and shows the cultural diversity of foreigners in our country and also anonymous Portuguese who found comfort and answers in these religions. It's a different programmatic format, but in my opinion deserves this space. Portugal is not just a nation of Catholics. Hence, paths, that's right, is a way in the right direction, for respect and tolerance for religious diversity.
