The corridor of power

Written by

It is a political debate program, broadcast on RTPN.

It is a balanced political debate, the various voices, i.e., several commentators on behalf of the most voted parties in the elections, with a seat in the assembly of the republic. The content is aimed to aim for a plurality of ideas about the highlights of the media agenda. This program appeals to me for several reasons, first because the personalities who debate the most controversial topics of the reality of the country, are the youngest members of the parties. It is kind of breath of fresh air since, over the years have always seen more of the same and that is very tiring. Then we have a private channel that persists in not following the example, to be impartial. Still leaves me puzzled that Professor Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, keep a television space in prime-time, to express his opinions that are always dubiously unbiased, even when he claims the contrary. The second reason is the professionalism of the journalist Sandra Sousa. She helps to keep the debate of ideas, encourages confrontation and leaves room for dissenting arguments, without showing any preferences. It is salutary to see this kind of professional contributions on television. Another of the gains of the program is the fact that it is live and allows public participation, through the forum. All these aspects contribute to create a dynamic, plural and free TV content, in a national television programming increasingly popular and without any quality.
