It is one of the most recent bets on comedy by RTP Portuguese. It is the story of a very little sacred family for sure.
The Holy Family has two positive points, in my opinion. One is an excellent cast, led by two great ladies of the art scene in Portugal, Simone de Oliveira and the wistful Maria Guida, who spent some time away from the TV screen, since it is devoted in recent years to assemble and stage plays. I would also highlight the work of Ana Brito e Cunha, who creates an almost doll very funny dumb blonde, on top she stutters. It's a beautiful composition of this actress. Also welcome the return of actor Victor Norte on Wednesday evenings.
Then there is the text writing by Joao Quadros, a veteran in this type of comedy formats, which is more a mark of high quality for this Mandala production. This series reminds me of one, the good folks are something else, a highly successful show of 80 years, (for those who do not know what I'm talking about watch RTP memory or look on YouTube), which focused on the life of a bankrupt family, who lived in a manor house, a matriarch very jealous of his past that produce an offspring of enables and parasites. This version is more updated and spicy. Not to be missed, you will like it.

The schedule of RTP 2 has a great virtue; it is the only channel providing public service, without a doubt. The tv emission is particularly interesting and offers a wide variety of programs of cultural and entertainment venues. The documentaries are a sector with a lot of weight in this matter and rightly so. The direction of the channel is careful to show short and long feature films produced nationally, which is an advantage, since in most cases, the Portuguese film-makers cannot even distribute its work on national cinemas. To that extent, and although there are many aspects to improve, (and here I an aside, it's boring seeing the same systematic documentary about killer sharks and giant snakes-eating humans. I understand that there is an audience that loves these animals, but there are always the same ... documentaries, of course), is pleased to see the quality work of Portuguese filmmakers and a broader scope, which also includes fiction. One of the documentaries that I appreciated the most was of "Jose and Pilar", the intimate surroundings of the life of the author and his wife and something of provocative as they address the controversy that always followed some of the books published by Saramago. I really enjoyed the performance of Brazilian actress Marilia Pêra, giving the body and voice to people who sent letters to the writer, not always with a very positive content about the literary value of this works. The final part of the documentary is very beautiful, a sort of closure with a gold key, a long hug in the sky studded with fireworks. It is a beautiful document, not only because it portrays the daily life of the author, but above all because it is a record of the great love that Jose and Pilar harbored for each other.
It is a talk show with various topics of regional and not only aims to inform and entertain through play and where each day is a new presenter.
Madeira Viva has a wide range of presenters and topics, but there is one in particular, I consider being one of the best professionals in the RTP Madeira, Teresa Mizon. The interviews are well prepared, she is informed about the projects, the professional and personal lives of its guests. The questions she addresses to the guests are always relevant, leaving room for a frank conversation and she doesn't run over then. It has an active listening because, also is a live show, she listen carefully the interviewee and ask questions arising from the course of the interview itself. Another factor that I consider very positive, but this is my personal criteria is her hoarse and melodious voice, radio voice of course. Over the years I have seen this professional involved in several television projects, but this sort of show lets her do what she know best, talk.
Of the remaining items, I highlight the participation of the young comedian, the friend Jode, I like the little humors notes that alleviate the program. Other capital gains of this talk show are the section conducted by Nuno Morna, the man must really have fun, he eats and drinks lot during the show.
Rarely there is an appealing generic; interestingly there was a change for the better. This is imaginative, at least not the often boring slide of images of the ocean with the program title on the horizon limit.

These examples serve to illustrate the impact of soap operas in everyday life and even the vocabulary in our country, a fact which was already the target of study, a book entitled "The telenovelas in Portugal-the history and theory of gender", Daniela Albuquerque and Andreia Vieira, said about this format that are "brilliant experiences of caricature to the soap opera it selve, in which laughter subvert the traditional formulation of burlesque narrative that sought the truth effect."

The new comedy show broadcasted by RTP, the last to leave, had an immediate effect to create controversy among the public. According to the creators of the series this is a comedy that aims to satirize the other reality shows that fill the prime time of television. The creators have been targets of numerous complaints from the provider of viewers because of the obsece language used by the characters, but mainly because many viewrs did not realize it was a comedy series, a confusion caused by the realism of the production.
The last to leave has not been a success for audiences in RTP, but in the social networking the list of thousands of fans is growing and has helped to further fuel the controversy surrounding the series. This program is a supposedly intelligent humor, and should be, but doesn't captivate my attention for a reason, if I did not lose any time watching such programs, I see the point in enjoying this new format. What they do is help create stereotypes about the type of people who participated in programs of its kind.
PS-I watched a part of the premiere, which allows me to write the text, it only makes sense that way. But apart from that, I'm sorry, I don't watch it!
Is the new program of Laurinda Alves about a new generations of Portuguese immigrants, the way they live and how they see their country. A program delivered by RTP 2.
I liked the premise of this new television content because it meets the new Portuguese emigrant, not that impoverished, semi-literate who emigrated under different circumstances. The current immigrants are skilled professionals. who speak several languages and conquer space across borders, due to the quality of their work, extraordinary ability to adapt to other cultures and ways of life and a great professional qualities. They are young people who for various reasons, also felt compelled to leave behind their country of origin in search of adventure, new experiences and financial stability and employment.
The fact that the journalist does not appear Laurinda Alves is an asset, for one reason only, the protagonist is no longer the interviewer becomes the interviewee, she is not on the spot light, which I think is very positive. We are privileged spectators of personal experiences, difficulties and challenges that these new generations of Portuguese immigrants face in their host countries.

This comedy show based on three characters starring Miguel Guilherme, Ivo Canelas and the late Canto and Castro who were respectively Quim Fitas, Joca and the grandfather. They try all forms and shapes to survive with all sorts of less honest expedients and in most cases with unexpected results. Based on a mythical British sitcom "Only Fools and Horses," written by John Sullivan's , this TV show did not merely copy the original, which was a wise decision, which resulted in one of early television successes of SIC.
Joca played by Ivo Canelas start his career, he plays the younger brother, pretty straight forward which is always fooled by the older brother with dubious and ruinous shemes. The work of the actor in this series already showed the brighter future of this professional actor all over the years.
Miguel Guilherme, one of the best actors of our country, is the prodigy family womanizer and work in as little as possible with grand schemes that always end up the worst possible way and with the most funny outcomes, the typical Portuguese scoundrel, in good sense. And finally, the actor Canto and Castro that makes the trio, a great actor that it is worth recalling in this role, his character was the counterpoint of two brothers who never ends up doing nothing but criticize everything and everyone, the typical old men of Restelo.
The best of this sitcom was the quality of the script and the group of actors. The episodes are very funny and held the viewer to the chair, is now a cult series on the Internet which it is still an achievement. Perhaps instead of the tvgarbage that SIC now broadcasts, they should look at this ancient production and recalled that before they broadcast very good comedy shows in the early days of its existence as a private channel. The worst of the series is the recorded laughter I never enjoyed it very much. A classic television to review and enjoyed.
It's a series that follows the daily life of a fictional private maternity hospital. It has a very wide range of actors recognized by the public.
This is the day-to-day motherhood. The complex line between life and death, because it also happens in a place that symbolizes hope. The series depicts the moments before the birth, but also follow the lives of doctors, nurses and technicians who accompany the mothers. Not a new concept, is public knowledge that fictional programs with physicians are a success in terms of audience. This is the Portuguese version. Overall I consider that the series has a weak argument, though the stories are well interspersed. The participation of invited guest is always an asset, because we see the work of some of the most respected actors of Portuguese art and iam talking about of some of the professionals who do not appear in the box that changed the world as often as they should.
I like the range of actors that comprise the clinical picture of this special maternity. Lucia Moniz is one of the main characters, head of maternity at the edge of compulsory closure and does a remarkable job, but I do not understand this mania to choose models who clearly do not know how to act for characters with some expression. To act, to be an actress, is not just having a Pepsodent smile, to be thin and put on a sad face. It is much more than that. And the lack of talent shows. The audience is not as free of opinion on this. Put to work people who know what they are doing and not just make a parade of pretty faces!
The technical part is poor. A delivery room is not an operating room. Only when something goes wrong is that pregnant women are transferred to these areas. And as a rule, some of these private hospitals do not even have specialized teams for this purpose. In Portuguese hospitals, if you do not know, babies are placed in a cot beside their mothers after birth. And not how we watch one of the episodes in which a mother only sees his son the next day. Recent mothers have to give breast-feeding to their newborns. Not to mention the psychological aspect of the matter. Nothing that we saw approaches reality. But, rather, what I really liked was the ridiculous of a situation, of a mother driving with contractions, I'm sorry to say this, but who thought of this possible scenario could only had been a man. We are strong indeed, but not that much. There's no excuse to such a gap in a show that left much to be desired for.
It is a program where anonymous Portuguese, like you and me, are cicerones of the countries where they reside.
They are Portuguese, most of then young people who left their country to other worlds, other realities that they ignore and which become they everyday lives. “The Portuguese in the world” is one of the best programs on travel and also foreign culture that we have seen recently. And what makes this show so interesting ?
The "traveler", lets call it like that, is a national citizen who for various reasons, in most cases for personal reasons, must leave our country and reside in another. Unlike the other programs on travel, in which there is a single presenter who travels the world and shows us what's so interesting to see in those distant reality. Our tour guide is a collection of anonymous people, Portuguese, living in a country and who kindly donate their time to make a tour of the city where they currently live. They talk about how they relate to the inhabitants of these localities, how they live and where cultural differences. The concept is innovative and in my view more interesting than the chronicles of a traveler’s journey that is only there for a few days. They reside there which in itself is value-added and thus show us where to eat, what to visit and raise the curtain to the viewers about the lifestyle of a avarage Portuguese, without being the point of view a star, or the occasional traveler. They show us how to live and work in countries as far away as Malaysia. And this is much more attractive from a cultural standpoint, the times in a pseudo travel programs. Have you noticed in all programs, the relaxed way as the Portuguese interact with people and most importantly, speak and master a foreign language in less than a year, as we saw in the case of the Portuguese in Morocco? Only one drawback, the shameful way that RTP( Portuguese Televison and Radio) is always changing the broadcasting schedule.
This is one of the most successful TV formats of the Public Portuguese Television and fully recorded in the studios of Porto.
The square of joy is a prime example of longevity of the Portuguese public television, and although I am not the target audience for this program, I believe is a well made product. The fact that it is on the air during the morning, ensures the audience of a senior public who watches the various proposals presented over the show.
Presenters, Jorge Gabriel and Sonia Araujo are nice and extraordinary enchanting what is expected of a program with that format, live, that entertains without offending. There is also a caution of the production to promote in various items, the Portuguese. They don't limit their approach only by broadcasting the traditional image of Portugal, there is also a care in talking about the several regions and their current players.
The only heading I like to see is the Telerural. The Quim & Zé Estacionâncio are the best pair of presenters in the country. It is one of the funniest sketches from television. The text used by this duo is simply delightful , there's a genuine caution in the use of idioms used in northern Portugal, the "dolls" are the best, and almost forgetting my favorite part, the weather! The boys already had their on program in the past, but for some reason was cancelled. Hopefully back soon, but there is always an added pleasure to see the best of comedy at the national level.
However, as all television programs that fight for audiences, in the end of the program they talk about the faidivers swarming the national news agenda. I'm talking about the approach of the crimes that are the focus of attention by the media, but unlike some channels they do not fall into the realm of pure speculation in the discussions, as we often see. These themes are always approached in a measured and a range of commentators are generally licensed in those fields. The fact is that as a television product whether we like it or not, works in full and the result is obvious.
