People of my homeland 2

It's a program that goes beyond the lines of the irreverence of Sic Radical.

It is above all a format that seeks to satire other European citizen. However, to me it seems to me a perfect excuse for Rui Sinel Cordes and Nuno Alberto, the director to travel through Europe. A program that is politically incorrect and I until recently thought that's what we needed at the moment, looking out with the most critical point of view, beyond our physical boundary, without the inferiority complex that characterizes so much as a nation. However, there is an episode in which the boundary of good taste was exceeded and what is the absolutely unacceptable, in the program dedicated to Scotland, there is the simulation of a rape. It might seem that was a joke, but I'll say it quite clearly that was not the least funny! There's a fine line between what a humorous sketch is and what actually is not. In this particular case, was positively miserable! I appreciate the corrosive humor, but frankly, they overdone the dose. I did not like it and I hope that was clear enough on this matter. I am a woman and that affects me, whether in Scotland, China, Uganda, or elsewhere in this lost world. That said I sincerely hope that the program ends.

Pros and cons

A program of debates conducted by journalist Fatima Campos Ferreira.

This is one of the best debate arenas on public television. It is a program that excels in its diversity of guests present and the host, Fatima Campos Ferreira, who knows how to stimulate discussion by asking relevant and incommodious question to some. In journalism the word annoying does not exists, annoyed interview prevail which is totally different. Some of the guests at all costs avoid concrete answers, what in this program does not happen, well, because the journalist does not let them do that. There are questions that must be asked and answered. I've seen debates truly remarkable with delightful interventions by some of the guests, as was the case on the program about arbitration in football which led many people to tears with laughter, with the unusual intervention of Major Valentim Loureiro. However, there are failures. The program on 20th of February disaster that occurred in Madeira, clearly fail in its contents, the debated issues were too political and there were many themes that were set aside and were more important to emphasize. It is beyond doubt one of the best television content from RTP and does justice to the true public service that gives room for the debate of ideas between the various opinion-makers.

5 to midnight

They came back with the same format, some new faces and a new time scheduale.

It is one of the most irreverent and innovative programs of public television. The format remains the same, with the same humor and the hottest and unusual questions. Currently, the boys gave a qualitative jump (warning: it depends on the point of view) and instead of channel 2 are now firm and stiff, as a hot iron bar at the end of the nights in the first channel. I really like the program and the different styles of interviewers / comedians, what I do not forgive is the lack of equal opportunities for women interviewers, if that exists for the parties should be a law for certain television programs. It's true! Too many idiots that is men full of ideas, for my taste. Where is the female view of the phenomenon "5 to midnight"? Rather than start a campaign in favor of amending the symbol "taste" of a certain American social network and making more millions to Mark Zuckerberg, they should do a casting for a new rebel sharp-tongued lady for evenings of channel 1. And I do not dare to come with the excuse that they tried and no one show up! Come back Filomena Cautela you're much missed. ;)

Your face is so familiar

It's an entertainment evening TV show of TVI

It is an unusual format that allows you to show the talent of local artists and television stars. Everything is programmed to the smallest detail, the stage, the characterization of the participants, the presenters and the jury on service. Nothing is random. So much so that "your face is very familiar" became a hit for audiences dethroning the "idols" of the SIC that are issued about the same time. It is a program for families and shows the vocal and interpretive skills of the participants who are assessed at the end by a panel of judges and the public. The thing that really caught my attention in this new format is the innate talent of some of the voices who participated, as was the case of Toy and Romana, authentic portent voices, capable of molding their tone to any musical register and yet check their singing careers with songs that fell short of their true capabilities. Also commendable is the professionalism of the production that demonstrates a great ability to turn this variety show into a good television moment, the passages of the plans provide even more vibrancy to the event itself and you may even disagree, but the hearings in this matter are sovereign.

Let's talk

It is a program on channel RTP memory with the better silver of the house.

It is a space for conversation about art, books, plays and performances that mark the national agenda or not, with several interviewers, some younger than others, which throughout the week, make known personalities from various cultural background. One of the names I like to highlight is Helena Ramos, not for the best of reasons, as an interviewer she leaves much to be desired. She doesn't do any relevant questions, because there she is not a journalist and more she likes to hear herself talk and not listen, she speaks more than lets the guest talk, in a way, they do not shine, so they "leave " her sparkle, which is not supposed. A great interview is when the talks goes beyond, questions and answers, through wander without limitations, when guest talks freely about their achievements, defending new ideas or not, but rather speaks of them self, of their work, or their writing, or anything and everything. This is the essence of this television format; the person is part of a conversation. For the other interviewers, I commend the professionalism of Maria João Gama and Joana Teles two lesser-known names of Portuguese viewers, but both let their guest shine. Eládio Clímaco and Isabel Angelino are the icing on the cake. Both of them are great talkers that currently go unnoticed as we rarely see them on the first channel.

Plus woman

A TV program of SIC designed for a feminine audience, but not only.

I like the presenter Ana Rita Clara that leads the way of this magazine with tips for the day to day and particularly the interviews she held's with great ease and without arrogance, asking relevant question to the guests. It has several interesting items, but one regret in particular the world of famous, which in my humble opinion, contributes nothing to the national joy, does not serve even to laugh at, I blush with shame seeing the same stretched faces and as usual they say nothing, because they simply do nothing. Not taking that small factor in to account, women plus is a modern television format, which presents contemporary themes relevant not only for women but for uncomplexed men that want to watch it. The only less positive side if I may call it so, are the extravagant and somewhat excessive hairstyles of the host that often distract us from the content of the program. More sobriety is a sign of effective communication, other than that, bravo to the production.

The troika exchange

It is an assuming program that talks about serious things in a casual tone.

Doesn't want to be too serious or too frivolous, it is a conversation between friends about the current national and international news events. There is a bit of everything and also for everyone. Interestingly, Herman Jose, the humorist, is a great counterpoint to the two great ladies who surround him, who are by the way, Rita Ferro, the writer and journalist Ana Mesquita. It is a program that is emitted in an inappropriate time, could be issued sooner, because a lot of issues that deserve the highlight of the commentators are a bit different of the boring editorial news shows that are limited to politics and the great human tragedies. It is a breath of fresh air, so is worthy of another timetable. Is a television format that has nothing of innovative, but ultimately introduce the novelty of being a space of discussion between three people from completely different areas, which denotes intelligence of the persons who created it. It is not a tight concept in the way that they are not experts or politicians who commented the news of the week, but in the end the trio reflects this kind of conversations we have in our live with our friends that's why it deserves my positive note in this regard.

Among dishes

It is a cooking program presented by Henrique Sá Pessoa.

The TV format dedicated to the culinary world has always existed since the beginning of Portuguese television. And think of the world. They have always been a successful formula and invariably were hosted by women with no specific training, moved only by the pleasure of cooking mastering the secrets of the best sauces, condiments and the exact hour of cooking the different types of meat. Programs were mainly designed and conceived for housewives and have always had large audiences. I grew up watching these two great ladies of these world of pans, in a lovingly way and with all deepest of respects, they were Maria de Lourdes Modesto and Filipa Vacondeus, the latter in particular fascinated my mother and me by the ease and joy she demonstrated cooking her favorite delicacies. Currently, they were replaced by chefs, a very curious title to say the least, women are always cooks and men are master chefs. After this aside, lets enter in the commentary this week, the program "among dishes" by Henrique Sá Pessoa. I accompany the episodes of his cooking space since the first episode and although some recipes are delicious and very easy to cook, because I have tried them on, the presenter continues to look embarrassed before the cameras. He never seems at ease and even when he tastes the food never seems quite genuinely delighted. One of the keys to the success of this kind of television format as is the enthusiastic cooks mix the ingredients and then the tasting part in the end. We have just an urge to eat, which does not happen with Henrique Sá Pessoa, sorry fans. The program is good, but lacks salt, see?

A day in the museum

It is a journey through the various national museums on RTP 2

I like museums. They are an accumulation of wisdom, knowledge and beauty under the most varied forms that carry with them the signs of a culture, a civilization, of human kind. In this program, which pleases me most is the journey through the interior of these spaces, which often is not known although we pass through its doors several times during the work week. How many time you said to yourself I'll visit it someday? A museum is not just an exhibition of objects that define a period, a collector or even a patron. It is a living entity, constantly changing, is a place that can house a library, a garden, a restaurant or an art shop. Is this the world we envision in each episode and I liked to see it to remember to later recall.

With science

It is a magazine that shows science that is done in our country and in the world.

Vasco Matos Trigo is the host "with science", a program that addresses the scientific advances that are developed in our country and abroad. It is television content that has two major assumptions, shows in an accessible and almost didactic way studies and scientific research that are conducted within the national territory, without going too much into technical details which are not the domain of ordinary people. On the other hand, is an opportunity to see that science also happens in Portugal at the highest level. The journalist who coordinates this television content, in my humble opinion, is one of the best professionals of public television. Indeed, over the years, Vasco Matos Trigo has invested in such programs who report the technological advances that in a deep analysis will change the world in which we live in. It's like a window to a new universe, full of possibilities and hope for the cure of many diseases that are still a scourge to mankind.
