It is an animate program of political satire. A risky project, but with great quality.
It is a very unique commitment of the public television programming at a time when the society debates the privatization of RTP, it is an innovative series and in my opinion of great quality. It is a comic strip for a more adult audience interspersed with real images. It is very funny. The characters are stereotypes that most kwon Portuguese and could only inhabit the space of a traditional tavern, where the topic of the day changes depending on current issues, always with mixed preferences football preferences, as it should be. At this point, a vote is taking place now ending on September the 9th, to vote for the great leader of this unusual central coffee shop that jokes about very serious issues. A TV show not to be missed, even in a public channel.
It is a cultural program of RTP and presented by Paula Moura Pinheiro.
Bright camera discusses several literary issues and artistic events that happen all over the country. Although, in its current form, there are small blocks that present suggestions for each day of the week, the main program, let us say, based on a concept already revisited is very well shaped by journalist Paula Moura Pinheiro. The way she conducts the program and the dialectic established with the guests is very effective and interesting, in fact she is one of the best interviewers of the public television, in my opinion. It is not only for her telegenic, is by being well prepared for interviews and never let the conversation fading, these are factors that make her one of the best professionals in this area. I would also say that bright camera is a referral program. For its quality, accuracy and range of suggestions literary, musical and cultural events that vehicles daily. The reports are a supplement that is commendable, too, because although are short records, inform, and are well placed in all. The generic is very interesting and even the current scenario is very appealing, being lit only in the center of the table, the host and her guests. The production is to be congratulated and we deserve such a program.
It is a weekly program of RTP with the aim to promote national best sellers.
Presented by Francisco Mendes and Isabel Figueira, this program should be canceled. The format is old and has no interest. The only plus is to invite Portuguese bands, but even these play in the end, sorry. This format should be refocused. It's boring. The sales table, which includes the children's records, is embarrassing to say least. There is something surreal in watching and listening Camané, followed by the song of the ducklings. Terrible! I understand that there is a market track for young people, but should have a separate program. Youth programming? Ever heard of the concept? One idea very remote on the public channel, they deserved some consideration because of their inherent potential. Presenters deliver; smile a lot and nothing else. No harm, but do not add anything. There should be a serious program of music that includes the top national sales, but never focused on it. Conclude by saying, off with top +.
It is a program written by journalist José Serra, RTP Azores, which addresses several issues related to the sea.
This program is only transmitted in the Azores, but should have a national impact. Unfortunately, the direction of the public channel, rarely takes the opportunity to show what best can be done in television, also on the islands. Is Public service of excellence, because it shows different realities of a territory, but this time in a more environmental dimension. They should focus more on the silver of the house rather than buy and deliver the same programs on wildlife. Mar à Vista is such examples. The author and journalist José Serra, with the support of biologist Philip Porter, addresses various issues related to aquatic wildlife that abounds in the waters of the Atlantic in the nine Azores islands. There are six documentaries about 30 minutes that in my view are of high quality information. First, because there is a large scientific rigor that gives great credibility to the documentary. Another thing to keep in mind is the images, some unseen seabed around the islands and some sanctuaries for wildlife, particularly birds. The way the program addresses the issues has a very interesting rhythm, as we hear the expert opinions and fishermen, as expected, are important sources of knowledge about the various species that inhabit these areas of great water depths. Interestingly it was the show about white sharks in the Azores, whose link is at the end of this text and worth watching.
It's a documentary, let us say that, about the most annoying features of the Portuguese people
It's a comedy show much like the national comedians played by John Paul Rodrigues and Antonio Barreto. It is the second production of this comedian for television, is a sociological study without any scientific credibility that traces the profile of the Portuguese, according to them. Parodies are very funny and well structured and I am suspicious, because I always liked the work of this duo. The format has a lot of grace in each episode featured a theme that is presented by Eládio Clímaco and all sketches address this issue. It is a program that deserves some respect, because once again, RTP transmition rails a bit. We are never sure in which day will be on, which is a shame. The work of these comedians have been consistent in quality and the “characters" that they create reflect that Portugal this & that. The title couldn’t be more appropriate for this very special social portrait.
A comedy shows that "plays" with the prejudices of the Portuguese. Unmissable.
SIC Radical has the merit on focusing on daring programming with new faces, particularly in comedy at the very limit. Almost rustle the bad taste, without being. The program black on white, with Rui Sinel is that kind of example. It is the quintessential black humor, so black that both the presenter and director almost always wear black. He plays with stereotypes and prejudices that are part of society in a very well done manner. This humorist writes humorous sketches with controversial issues, such as an episode in which "toys" with a disabled person, or when he decides to jump the wall of a cemetery and do comedy in this space. And then he questions the viewer, why not? Why not make you laugh in a place so serious? It's a risk, the boundary is blurred between been funny and making a joke of very bad taste, but the comedy is a fruitful ground for such dilemmas. I like the program. Very much so. The way the camera is used, on the shoulder strap grants an even more radial style that made the fame of this television private channel. It reminds me of Lars von Tries, he films like this. Even the choice of some issues, the disabled program, brings us to the memory the idiots of the Danish filmmaker, although is not a copy, may have been influence by him. Overall, the program is very good, but not for any type of audience, but no one questions it.
This program of RTP performs a tour thru the country, with the aim of showing the best made in these Portuguese regions.
I mentioned here in the past the importance of using the technical resources of this channel in terms of public service. This program that starts in the beginning of the afternoon fulfills this role. Over several hours of issuance, total summer shows the local cuisine, in this context, it is necessary to highlight t one item, the seven wonders in food, which has raised some excitement, due of the choice of the finalists. A typical problem for the Portuguese. The music is another part of the show, not to mention a lot of guest who somehow promote their locations. Presenters are an asset in this issue; in particular, Tânia Ribas de Oliveira is one of the most loved by the Portuguese public. The rest are excellent professionals that meet the rigor patterns that the program requires. The audience, once again, are roughly one fringe of the female population, with a facade above the age 40, who enjoy this kind of live broadcasts.
It is a reality show that TVI allegedly puts "competitors" to live and work in an African tribe.
What can I say about this program? Its production that is definitely lost. It's almost heartbreaking to see some scenes of this alleged program of physical and mental stamina. One thing is certain, it is apparently a show where the "competitors" were really been tested, because they went hungry and cold. Complaints by the way, has targeted not only the content that is considered doubtful, but the criticism extended to the participants themselves "forced" to starve when apparently many had no idea what they were going for. Lost indeed! All of them. It's one of those programs that would be funny but it’s sad just to watch. The only aspect that target of my curiosity was that the tribes: the Himba, the Hamer and Nakulamene. Apparently they perceive all that scam as a joke. And they should have inferred that those white people were all crazy. Maybe they are much smarter than us. Those poor people must have enjoyed it to the full. As you know I'm not a fan of reality shows and other formats were already kind of bad, this beats then all. My question is to know what will be the next program that goes beyond this one in terms of ridiculous and grotesque by showing the misery of others. Yes, because apparently this TV garbage is not yet exhausted, quite the opposite and unfortunately the hearings in this matter speak for themselves.
It is a program dedicated to the conversation. It is a type of interview more informal and enriching from the journalistic point of view.
This program broadcast on RTP 2 is a space that allows the viewer to watch a more intimate type of interview, radio style, they almost "forgotten" the presence of the camera, the calm when approaching the topic of conversation, without pressure and with a clear fluid that allows the guest to speak at will. It's the kind of conversation that I appreciate, because we clearly see that most of the guests feel comfortable, as if in a café having a conversation with a friend. The informal atmosphere is greatly due to the attitude of the interviewer, José Fialho Gouveia. He makes the right questions and others less, but what matters here is what makes them over the broadcast. And what passes for the viewer is a very interesting dialogue between two people who are talking about the professional and personal of one of them. It is a type of interview I am interested due to the richness of small things. We get to know the guest some more others worse, the other side of the public figures invited. What motivates them in their career and for that alone is worth seeing this program. It is unpretentious and to some extent a most romantic way to do journalism, because the interviewer involves quietly his interviewed on this most intimate sphere, without invading the privacy of his interlocutor.
It is an information space that looks more closely at the events that mark the agenda of the various localities in Portugal.
It's news program par excellence that marks the agendas of the various municipalities in the country. It's kind of more detailed information, because it explores all aspects of regional news. Presented by the always excellent Dina Aguiar, one of the most experienced journalists in public television, this space primes by the quality of press reports that direct its focus on cultural events promoted by the localities. It complements information, because often we see news stories that have set the opening of prime-time newscasts. It is a true public service of excellence, serves as the window of our country and its socio-cultural diversity. The news stories have an important role, helping to promote the regions overseas, since the program is retransmitted on RTP International. It is also a way to mobilize all human and technical resources that are available to this television and they are often simply overlooked when it’s states that the RTP does not fulfill its role in public service. This program is proof to be positive because it seeks to avoid the lame story that characterizes the information produced by some channels.
